“Mr. Biathlon” himself, Ole Einar Bjoerndalen: With 8 Olympic Gold medals, 20 World Championship titles and 6 World Cup Total Scores, the Norwegian isn’t just one of the most successful biathletes ever to step to the start gate, he is one of the most successful winter athletes overall. Between 1996 and 2017, Bjoerndalen amassed 134 World Cup victories, 95 of them individually – always hungry to deliver the perfect biathlon competition. During the BMW IBU World Championships in Oberhof, Bjoerndalen is on-site as expert for Norwegian broadcaster TV2.
